With approximately 367,197 residents, Arlington is the seventh largest city in Texas and the 49th largest city in the nation. The city spans 99 square miles and is home to several attractions including Six Flags theme park and the future Dallas Cowboys’ stadium.

The Arlington Police Department enforces state and local laws in order to better protect and serve its large community. The Department is very involved with its community and offers many outreach programs such as Cash for Crooks and Terrorism Awareness programs. The Department is organized into three main divisions: Support Operations, Field Operations, and Management Services.

The Arlington Police Department utilizes the Tiburon Records Management System.
