Medford is a rapidly growing city in Jackson County, Oregon. The Medford economy is driven mainly by agriculture. However, in the past few years the city has seen significant growth in other business areas. To illustrate, the city’s largest employer is Harry and David, a gourmet food company.

The Medford Police Department consists of 103 sworn officer and 47 civilian employees, all of who are responsible for maintaining the safety of the 76,000 residents of Medford. As the city continues to grow, the Medford Police Department expands its range of duties and services.
