At approximately 214,000 residents, Reno is Nevada’s third largest city (following Las Vegas and Henderson. Reno’s extensive casino and gaming scene attracts many visitors. It is also known as “The Biggest Little City in the World”.

The Reno Police Department is organized into three main divisions: Administration, Community Affairs, and Operations. Within each division are several, more specified teams. The Reno Police Department meets all the law enforcement needs of its community. Furthermore, the Department hosts several community programs including a citizen Ride-Along Program and Explorer Program.

The Reno Police Department utilizes the Tiburon Records Management System.
