Personnel are notified when OT is posted that meet their preferences, they are notified when they have been signed up for a shift by a sergeant or supervisor, they are notified when an upcoming assignment has been cancelled, and they are reminded of upcoming assignments. Personnel are also sent notifications when they sign up for shifts as their own documentation so that they don't need to login if they want to quickly look up when they have to come in for OT.
